It was truly the most wonderful time of the year at ICS during the Advent and Christmas season. From morning prayer focusing on the Jesse Tree, the annual Early Childhood Christmas Program, class parties and the traditional 12 days of Christmas sing-a-long, the spirit was alive. Immaculate Conception Church will have the following Masses for Christmas. Christmas Eve Mass on Tuesday, December 24 at 4:00 pm (English) and 6:30 pm (Spanish). Christmas Day on Wednesday, Dec. 25 at 8 am and 10 am (English) and 12:00 pm (Spanish). There will be no 6 pm Mass on Christmas Day.
The ICS Community has lost an angel who lived among us. Rest in peace Mrs. Hannan, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, friend, and 27 year veteran teacher. Mrs. Hannan was respected and dearly loved by all who knew her and were taught by her. All are invited to join us for a Celebration of Life Memorial Service on Saturday, December 14th at Immaculate Conception Church. A gathering for family and friends will begin at 9:00 am. A Liturgy of the Word Prayer Service will begin at 10:00 am. A reception will follow in the Parish Hall.
See what happens when Halloween Family Fun Night meets the Christmas season on Friday, December 6th from 6:00 until 9:00 pm. The event will include the best of Halloween and Christmas in one fun night. Come dressed in your Halloween costume or your merriest of Christmas attire. There will be music, inflatables, trick or treating and more! A "Merry" Monster Mash will be held for students in grades 5th, 6th, and 7th grades. Admission is $10 for students in grades PreK-3 through 7th. Admissions for parents/guardians is a bag of candy to distribute for trick or treating. Parents/guardians must remain with children. ICS will be sponsoring Holiday Portraits this Sunday, December 8th from 9:00 am until noon in the Parish Hall located on Avenue C directly behind the church. Pictures may be taken individually or as a family or group with or without Santa. Gather your family and friends for photos before or after Mass this weekend.
