Students may wear costumes to school on Friday, October 30, 2020. Parents, when selecting a costume for your child to wear to school, please follow the following guidelines:

COSTUME GUIDELINES FOR ALL GRADES

• Students must be able to sit in their desk/seat comfortably while wearing the costume.
• The costume should not obstruct or block another student's view in the classroom i.e. large hat or headpiece.
• Costumes depicting characters in a “R” rated movie are not allowed
• Costumes may not include weapons.
• Make-up is allowed as long as it does not impede learning.

PREK through KINDERGARTEN

• Students must be able to independently use the restroom while wearing the costume.
• Please send an extra set of play clothes. 
• No Props (wands, dolls, stuffed animals, etc.)
• No Halloween masks are allowed.

FIRST through THIRD GRADE

• Students must be able to independently use the restroom while wearing the costume.
• No Props (wands, dolls, stuffed animals, etc.)

FOURTH through SEVENTH GRADE

• No costumes that are too tight in fit, too short in length or revealing
• No costumes that imply disrespect or abuse to any person is allowed
• Costume Contest categories will include:     Most Creative, Most Original, Funniest, Scariest, Best Duo, Best Group
