CHALK ART STATIONS OF THE CROSS
In these very different times it seems that so much has changed. As we approach the Sacred Triduum, we feel it even more. What has not changed is the Church’s teaching of the importance of the “Domestic Church”.
The Domestic Church is a church in the home, where God is honored, his law is respected, prayer is a normal event, virtue is transmitted by word and example, and everyone shares the hopes, the problems and sufferings of everyone else. Now, perhaps more than any other time in our lives, the Domestic Church is most important (adapted from article).
For most of us, attending the Liturgy is not possible. So we had another idea! So many of you have done amazing things with Chalk art. We are asking our families to choose one or two (or more) Stations of the Cross and draw it on your driveways, walkways, fences, etc.

Email your pictures to [email protected] by noon on Holy Thursday. We will post on Good Friday so that we may share this holy tradition together as a community of faith from our domestic churches.
