Immaculate Conception School exists for the integral Catholic education of youth, especially those of the working class, developing their potential as good Christians and honest citizens. This education is carried out in a family spirit, utilizing the principles of reason, religion and loving kindness as taught by St. John Bosco and St. Mary Mazzarello.

Dear Parents,

The students, parents, faculty, and staff of Immaculate Conception Elementary School, warmly welcome you to our school family. Thank you for taking the time to visit our school website and consider it as a choice for your child’s spiritual and academic formation and education.

The Salesian Sisters of St. John Bosco and a dedicated faculty and staff administer our school. Together, we form an educating community of caring professionals who have at heart the good of the young people entrusted to our care. At Immaculate Conception School we seek to create a loving environment conducive to learning. In this way, a true family spirit is engendered in the school.

Since the true and primary educators of the children are the parents, we welcome the collaboration of our families. Through weekly bulletins, Parent Club Meetings, Conferences, Family Fun Nights, monthly Family Mass, Crawfish Boil, Parish Fair, and other family oriented activities of the church and school there is ample opportunity to come together as a total school community.

We are very proud of the many academic and athletic accomplishments of our students. Our dedicated faculty and staff give of their time and talent to insure that the children enjoy a variety of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities that result in a well-rounded education. In this as well, we welcome the help and collaboration of the parents and families.

Immaculate Conception School has served the church and the community since 1924 and has educated thousands of young people. We are now educating the second and third generation of the children and grandchildren of past pupils who have great esteem for their school.

Thank you for your visit. If you desire any additional information, please do not hesitate to call us.

Sincerely in Jesus and Mary,

Sr. Lise Parent, FMA
